I have worked in adult skills and higher education for twenty years, building relationships with partners, stakeholders and colleagues to design and deliver strategic projects and programmes of work including learning campaigns, skills programmes, and accreditations. I have worked in the Higher Education (HE) sector for coming up to ten years.

I am passionate about developing relationships and working in partnership, an advocate for clear and honest communications.

My career to date has involved:

• Extensive internal and external stakeholder management including academics, Leadership team members across business portfolios, IT suppliers, funding bodies, sector skills councils, accrediting bodies and partners.

• Mentoring and managing staff

• Developing communications and engagement plans 

• Writing communications in various formats for multiple audiences

• Drafting, editing, reviewing and crafting accreditation and project documentation 

• Running workshops, drop-in sessions, training and developing presentations

• Determining business needs and gaining commitment for projects, improved process design and ways of working

 

I truly value continuous personal and professional development, through formal and informal education. Most recently, I completed a Level 7 Senior Leaders Apprenticeship and MBA at Sheffield Hallam University, completing it during the Covid 19 lockdown, graduating in November 2021.
